How Conceptable Ltd handles personal data when you visit conceptable.com or contact us through it.

Updated on 21 October 2026

Who we are

This policy describes how Conceptable Ltd (“Conceptable”, “we”, “us” and “our”), 167-169 Great Portland Street, 5th Floor, London, England W1W 5PF, collects, uses and shares personal data when you use this website, conceptable.com (the “Site”). We are the controller of that personal data.

This policy covers the Site only. Our divisions, its.fashion and Progressed, are part of Conceptable Ltd but have their own websites and policies: its.fashion and its products are covered by the its.fashion Privacy Policy, and Progressed is covered by its own terms and policies. Where you use one of those, its policy applies.

What we collect, and why

“Personal data” has the meaning given in the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR): any information that identifies you, alone or combined with other information we hold, such as your name, organisation or email address.

WhatWhy we use itLegal basis
What you send through the contact form or the call request form: your name, email address, organisation if you give it, the topic you choose and your message. For a call, also the times you choose or suggest, how you would like to talk, and your browser’s time zone, so we can read your times correctly.To read your enquiry, reply to it, arrange a call if you ask for one, and pass it to the right division if you ask us to.Our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries, and taking steps at your request before any contract.
Anything you send us by email or post.To respond and to keep a record of our dealings with you.Legitimate interest, or a contract with you or your organisation.
Basic technical information your browser sends to our web server, such as the page requested, time and browser type, in server logs kept by our hosting provider.To run the Site securely and to block abuse of the contact form.Legitimate interest in keeping the Site secure and working.
Anonymous usage statistics from they.click analytics.To understand which pages are useful so we can improve the Site.Legitimate interest. No personal data is stored (see below).

The Site has no accounts, logins, payments, advertising or social media plug-ins. We do not use your personal data for automated decision-making or profiling, and we do not sell it.

Cookies and similar technology

The Site does not set cookies.

  • Analytics. We use they.click, a privacy-first analytics service, to count visits and see how pages are used. It works without cookies and does not store IP addresses or anything else that identifies a person.
  • Your theme choice and the privacy notice. If you switch between the light and dark versions of the Site, or close the privacy notice, your browser remembers that choice in its local storage. It stays on your device, is never sent to us, and you can clear it in your browser settings at any time.
  • Fonts. The Site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts. To deliver them, Google receives your IP address and browser details, as it does for any web request. Google’s use of that data is covered by Google’s privacy policy.

Who we share it with

We do not share your contact details with anyone who is not working for us. We share personal data only with:

  • Service providers who host the Site, deliver our email and provide our analytics, and who may only use it to provide those services to us.
  • Our divisions, its.fashion and Progressed, when your enquiry is about one of them. They are part of Conceptable Ltd, so this is not a transfer to another organisation; from then on the division’s own privacy policy describes how your data is handled.
  • Authorities or advisers where the law requires it, or where it is needed to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

The Site links to other websites, including those of our divisions. This policy does not cover them, and we are not responsible for their privacy practices.

Where your data is stored

Your data is stored and processed in the United Kingdom where possible. Some of our service providers may process data in other countries. Where data leaves the UK, we make sure it is protected by an adequacy decision or by appropriate safeguards, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

Security

We use reasonable organisational, technical and administrative measures to protect personal data. The Site is served over an encrypted connection, and the contact form is checked on the server before anything is sent. No transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, so if you have reason to believe your interaction with us is no longer secure, please contact us straight away.

How long we keep it

We keep contact details and messages sent to us through the Site, by email or by post for 24 months, unless a longer period is required or permitted by law (for example, record keeping required by HMRC or Companies House). If your enquiry turns into work with one of our divisions, that division’s own retention terms apply from then on.

Children

The Site is not directed at children under 16. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that their child has sent us information, please contact us and we will delete it as soon as reasonably practicable.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to:

  • ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
  • ask us to correct anything that is inaccurate or incomplete;
  • ask us to erase your data, for example when it is no longer needed;
  • ask us to restrict how we use it, or object to our use of it based on legitimate interests;
  • ask for your data in a portable format; and
  • opt out of any marketing at any time. We do not send marketing from this Site.

To use any of these rights, contact us and tell us which personal data is concerned and which right you would like to use. To protect you, we may need to verify your identity, and we may act only on data linked to the email address you write from. We will respond as soon as reasonably practicable and in any event within one month.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal data, please tell us first and we will reply within 30 days. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), the UK data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk, or to the supervisory authority where you live.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the Site or the law changes. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
