The final week before the launch of this new mentoring platform and fashion business video information channel has started…
The team at Conceptable and the media partners are working with Head of Mentoring Ben Muis and Media Director Darren Paul on the preparations of both the launch evening in Soho and the first FASHIONbasecamp mentoring sessions.
FASHIONbasecamp will be providing young aspiring fashion designers and entrepreneurs as more established fast growing fashion labels with the sounding board they need to make their next steps in business with confidence.
In our own experience many of the start-ups and growing fashion businesses that have come through Conceptable’s doors have a real need for practical guidance that goes beyond theory. They need practical solutions, information that can help them forward with confidence and solid business advice. This is what FASHIONbasecamp aims to provide. A structured approach to business mentoring that is completely focused on the fashion industry and brings great experience within reach of those who need access to it.
Head of Mentoring, Ben Muis, has significant experience in working with mentees from different backgrounds and experience. He has taken the task of setting up the mentoring programme structures and leading the team of mentors that our mentees and participants in the programmes have access to.
In five days, at an event in SOHO, FASHIONbasecamp will start its journey. It is our intention to bring many new people along on this journey, where creators of new fashion labels get shown the way from start to finish.
See FASHIONbasecamp presenter Nimi Mehta, Head of Mentoring Ben Muis and Media Director Darren Paul as they unveil what FASHIONbasecamp is all about during an evening with music from live acts, video previews and showcases from young and aspiring designers. The event is in Soho, London on Saturday the 19th of September. Go to www.fashionbasecamp.com to get an invitation now.
